Hi. I'm Roger Sessions.

I'm interested in the subject of food transformations. By this I mean transforming food from healthy food to very healthy food through some simple transformations.

What kind of transformation, you ask skeptically?

Here are some examples:

  • Seeds + water + time = Sprouts
  • Soybeans + culture + time = Tempeh
  • Cabbage + salt + time = Sauerkraut
Get the picture? The one constant in all of these equations is time.

I don't really know where, if anyplace, this blog is going to go. For now, it is a place for me to keep my notes on food transformations and recipes that make use of transformed foods. If you are interested in this, stay with me!
